54. Review : The End

Towards then end of this project things started to get a little crazy.

Here are the events that occurred on the final night of Project 54. ( Documented by Sami Dahman)

As you can see things got a little out of hand.

Let this serve as a lesson to people that have to complete project 54 in the future.

53. Review : Craigslist Ad

After making it to the final days of Project 54, I have come to realize that I have bought way to many Kleenex boxes then I needed.

I rarely get sick so I really do not have any need for them.

After much thought, I realized they needed a better home.

What better way to find a new home for the Kleenex then craigslist.

On Craigslist I can quickly find a home for the Kleenex.

I made an Ad on craiglists in hope of finding a new home for the Kleenex boxes.

Even after more than 8 hours of the post being up, I still have not found a home for the poor Kleenex.

I will keep you guys updated if I get a reply to the Ad.

52. Review : Memes

While working on this Kleenex Project 54, I have come across many conclusions.

Some funny ones I have made into memes.

Memes have become very popular internet sensations that everyone can recognize.

I feel as if expressing thru memes is an easy way to connect with the viewer.

51. Progressive : Hologram

Progression in Advertising.

Advertising has been portrayed in many ways like magazine ads, commercials, neon signs etc.

After watching this years Coachella Music Festival I had an idea for a new kind of ad

The Tupac Hologram

This new type of advertising will be displayed as holograms, such as the tupac one at Coachella.

The tupac hologram was a huge success and made top news around the world.

I feel as if there were a hologram Kleenex Ad

It would draw more people to the product and help the Brand name be more popular.

Have you ever had a runny nose all day and it ruined your day?

Have you been going thru boxes and boxes of Kleenex?

48. Progressive : Caveman

The human race has come a long way.

Have you ever thought of what the human race used to use to blow their nose before Kleenex? Over even Hankerchiefs?

One of my guesses is that they used to use plants.

When using plants to blow your nose, many bad things could happen, such as using poison ivy.

Luckily now that we have Kleenex we do no have to worry about these problems.

Below is a cartoon of a caveman using a plant to blow his nose.

Humans have progressed so much.

I am not the most artistic person when it comes to pencil and paper, so I got some help.

My friend chris drew the sketch.

I then took a picture of his drawing and colored it on photoshop for the final product!

47. Progressive : 1952 Political Party

When I first heard that this week’s directive was Progressive, I could not help but think of the Progressive Political Party.

Unlike the Democratic Party and Republican Party in 1948, the anti-war Progressive Party opposed military conscription after World War II.

The Progressive political party never had much success.

In 1948, Henry Wallace of Iowa ran for president, but was not successful.

This made Henry Wallace very sad.

Luckily Kleenex Pocket packs were starting to become more popular at the time.(pictured by his hand above)So his tears could be caught by Kleenex everywhere.

This is one of the ADs for the portable tissues at the time.

46. Social : Handout

One late night at the compass I decided to perform a Kleenex social experiment.

You know those crazy people that are always handing out flyers?

Well I wanted to see if people would grab free Kleenex if offered to them.

The results were very…strange.

Of the 87 people that were offered the Kleenex, only 6 actually grabbed one.

Below is a photo of my friend steven handing out the Kleenex.

I was going to wait until 100 people passed by to start the test, but by 87 a campus cop had showed up because of complaints of flashing (my camera) in the compass, so we called it a night and stopped at 87.

Only about 6.9% of the people offered free Kleenex actually took one.

45. Social : Poll

During class on the week after we were assigned the Social directive I conducted a poll to see about where everyone was on their project.

I asked 15 people how many posts the had these were my results.

0-10: 2 people

11-20: 4 people

21-30: 5 people

31-40: 3 people

41-50: 1 person

 

Many people had fallen behind on there project.

 

This is where I realized that I really need to start wrapping everything up.

 

At the time I had about 23-25 posts.
